Winter hiking
Lachtal also offers cross-country skiing, snowshoeing and winter walking.
Starting from the car park at the valley station, the winter hiking trail leads up to the Kleinlachtalhütte chalet (approx. 5 km there and back).
Wonderful hiking trails lead through the pure white of the Murtal highlands, with forests covered by deep snow. Freedom and distant views from December to April are guaranteed. For stops in between with a fun factor, you can pop in at rustic mountain huts offering dumpling soup, roast pork, tea with schnapps, Alpine coffee and Swiss stone pine schnapps.

Cross-country skiing

The trail is a 2.5 km circuit on the “Reifboden”, of which 2.5 km classic and 2.5 km skating tracks are available in parallel.
